User Accounts
Everyone who accesses the Park Assist Software Suite must have a user account. Six types of accounts are available, with permissions to use various parts of the system dependent on the user’s function. The table below summarizes user groups.
User Type | Dashboard | Command | Alerts | Finder | Insights | Multi-site Visibility | Portfolio Reports | User Admin |
Attendant | X | X | X | X | ||||
FYC Attendant | X | |||||||
Operator | X | X | X | X | X | |||
Manager | X | X | X | X | X | X | ||
Reseller | X | X | X | X | X | X | ||
Administrator | X | X | X | X | X | X | X | X |
The Attendant user type is best for day-to-day parking operations personnel who do not require reports. FYC Attendant accounts are only for operations staff to assist visitors in locating their vehicle. Operator users are most often facility or parking managers, local to the site. The Manager user has the same permissions as the Operator plus the ability to manage other users belonging to these types: FYC Attendant, Attendant, Operator and Manager. The Reseller user type has the same level of access as a Manager, but across multiple clients and sites; it is reserved for Park Assist sales partners and resellers only. The Administrator user type is typically applied to senior or off-site management and IT personnel. Users can be created by Administrator accounts and by your Park Assist support representative. Each account has a distinct user name, email address, password, role and assigned ‘home’ site.
All users can access their profile in the upper-right corner of the page. The profile page is used to change password and adjust subscriptions.
