Dwell

This report provides rich information on the patterns of dwell time at the site, broken down into four tabs. When exported, all tabs are present in exported output.

Summary Tab

 

Bar graphs render dwell time information three basic ways, within the set time and date range.

  • Measured by Day of the Week:  Site-wide average dwell time broken down by day of the week
  • Measured by Zone: Average dwell time broken down by zone
  • Measured by Bay Type: Average dwell time broken down by bay type

Daily Dwell Time Tab

 

Line graphs display the pattern of dwell time, averaged into 30-minute intervals for all days within the date range. Time range is ignored for this tab. Hovering the cursor over each graph line reveals the specifics of that data point. Individual graphs can be exported by clicking on the three-bar icon at top-right of the graph.

  • Daily Dwell Time Overall:  Average dwell time day-by-day
  • Daily Dwell Time by Zone: Dwell time broken down by zone, day-by-day
  • Daily Dwell Time by Bay Type: Dwell time broken down by bay type, day-by-day

Dwell Time Distribution Tab

 

This tab reports on the distribution of dwell time into categories by length (e.g. 0-30 minutes, 30-60 minutes, etc) within the set time and date range. Hovering the cursor over each graph element reveals the specifics of that data point. Individual graphs can be exported by clicking on the three-bar icon at top-right of the graph.

  • Dwell Time Distribution Overall: Distribution for the entire site
  • Dwell Time Distribution by Zone: Distribution for each zone
  • Dwell Time Distribution by Bay Type: Distribution by bay

Heatmap Tab

 

This tab provides a visual guide to average dwell time by individual bays, within the set time and date range. “Warmer” color areas indicate longer dwell, with “cooler” areas showing shorter dwell. Heatmaps are provided for each zone of the site. Hovering the cursor over a bay displays its unique bay ID.
